My First Blog Post

So this is my first blog! Quite a few years ago I used a blog for a game forum that i used to play. Using that blog helped me to communicate with other players as well as find out when certain game related events and important information was posted. The name of the game was Tremulous. It is a  multi-player FPS that has some elements of RTS in it.
Here is a picture one version of the logo.

  1. cool picture! I really like how you utilized the neon green hyperlinks, they really pop and stand out. I couldn't help but click on them to check out where they lead to. good job!

  3. It's nice to know other people aren't new to blogging.

I'm not sure if I've heard of Tremulous before, so just after reading this post I watched a video that featured some of the game play. It looks different then what I'm use to. It's an MMO, right? Those are great! I currently favor playing the F2P online game, Team Fortress 2. Here's a link in case you're interested in TF2: http://www.teamfortress.com/

    1. Yes it is an MMO. I have played TF2 a couple times on the Xbox, unfortunately I don't have a gaming computer and I am not sure if my computer's RAM would be sufficient. I probably just need to update some of my computer drives and systems.

    2. Hmm, it looks interesting. TF2 on the Xbox doesn't look too different from the PC version, but since I haven't played both versions myself, I think the comparison between the two versions is probably like comparing the PC version of Minecraft to playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360. I understand how it goes with non-gaming PCs, I'm fotunate my PC can handle TF2's graphics. :D

  4. @kevmack13 -as Stellar Dreamery stated, I haven't heard of Tremulous either, but have played some FPS, and RTS games before. The most notable would be on the PC platform, such as Starcraft Broodwar and Starcraft 2, along with Counter Strike Source. I do prefer RTS games though. What platform is Tremulous made for?

    1. Tremulous is for PC or MAC, and the download for the game online is completely free. Games play is free as well. That is one of my favorite things about it. That it really truly is completely free!

    2. Thats nice to hear, now a days things aren't so "free". It seems as if you pay for the game at the store, (gamestop, walmart, amazon, digital) and you get it home to realize that you have to be connected to the games internal servers to play even the single player campaign. Ok I get it, its a stab to try and reduce piracy, sure, but when I have already payed $60 for the game it seems as if I am just leasing it from the developer. So what happens when their servers go down? Thats right, I now have a useless piece of software on my computer I can't even use. It may almost seem as they might have some other motive as well... Maybe a contract with a major internet provider? Makes you wonder...

  5. I am completely game ignorant and all these random letters are making me dizzy. Cool post though!
